Born Calvin Lorenza Askew in the enchanted city of Rome, Georgia, Calvin Lorenz is a Southern Soul/R&B artist whose journey through music began at the tender age of 8. Inspired by the rich musical tapestry of the South, Calvin Lorenz found his voice in the Mini Builders Youth Choir at The Life of Jesus in Action Holiness Church, laying the foundation for a lifelong passion for singing and performing. Throughout his formative years, Calvin Lorenz honed his craft in the choral ensembles of Rome Middle and Rome High School, where his talent and dedication shone brightly. This journey continued as he became a cherished member of the Anointed Albany State University Gospel Choir, further refining His vocal prowess.
