Singer-Songwriter Candice Yvonne’s music will heal the soul as she infuses sweet gospel harmonies and R&B rhythms creating a unique sound that uplifts and inspires the faintest of hearts. She received her calling to music and the arts at a very young age, learning the piano, playing the clarinet and singing in her church choir but was discouraged by self doubt and lack of confidence in her abilities. Even though she sung in choirs in her hometown of Houston, Texas for names like Shirley Caesar and Hezakiah Walker to name a few, it wasn’t until the passing of her biological mother that she decided to stop being imprisoned by her past and live in the purpose that God had predestined for her. Singles like “Chicken” and “Freedom Ring” paint a lyrical picture of what can be achieved if you just believe in yourself and step out on Faith. She is currently working on her debut EP.
