Hey! I’m Cayton Cheri and I am an independent pop artist originally from Los Angeles California. I’m a singer, songwriter, and producer and I studied classical singing at Chapman University in California and received my BM in Vocal Performance in 2020, all while writing my own music for fun and final projects! Post-graduation, during the global pandemic, I decided to pursue becoming an alternative pop artist, and I moved across the country to Nashville Tennessee with my best friend in our cars with no jobs, no apartment, and no connections. Within my first week in the music city, I penned my debut single “pity party”. My music touches on the topics of change, mental health, and heartbreak, all set to grungy pop production. My musical influences range from current pop icons like Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande, and Lady Gaga, to 90's pop/rock artists like Alanis Morissette, Fiona Apple, and No Doubt.
