My musical output took off during a sabbatical in Ireland from my day job as an art director my music enjoyed modest success, including recognition from legendary Irish radio DJ Gerry Anderson, who regularly played the EP’s title track on his popular mid-morning programme. I returned to Stockholm to start a family, but my songwriting continued, if only in the form of unfinished melodies and loosely sketched lyrics that largely remained in my own head or on scraps of paper. We eventually moved to the Stockholm archipelago, where I forged the creative space to work on my unfinished songs and sound. My music has a distinct indie-folk vibe. Writing music and singing are the best ways to clear out the crap; shine a light on the shadows. It gives energy and peace of mind at the same time. My melodies and lyrics are usually bittersweet, with the eerie ambience of an abandoned amusement park at night.
