      Artist Biography:  Charley Goo             “You have to have your name and your business right…and it cost money to do music” The Phoenix Hip-Hop scene is a diverse yet powerful market because many of the artists and producers are originally from other cities.  These artists bring with them different cultures and sounds that make the scene what it is today.  One artist who is a tremendous asset to the culture and sound in the “Valley of the Sun” is the Detroit-native known as, Charley Goo. Charley Goo first decided to embark upon a career as a recording artist in 2009.  This decision spawned him to join his brother-in-laws group, Die 4 Crime.  His musical longevity greatly proceeds 2009, as he began honing his lyricism and stage presence in the mid 1990’s.
