Chelbi

Kerkennah, Tunisia

My name is Chelbi Kcharem and I am a professional engineer and a music student. I started learning to play guitar at the age of 23. I wanted to play some riffs of my favorite songs. That was all I wanted. Today, at the age of 35, I play and record my own music at home. To get to that, I never stopped playing since I started to learn. Then I took guitar classes in Blech Hass association in Tunis in 2014. That taught me the scales and the basics of composing. In 2018, I took drums classes at Nokia where I work as an engineer. That was really a booster for me as a musician. I thought about focusing on drums and quitting the guitar. I did that for a moment but then I took back the guitar and started to right my first song in April 2019. During the quarantine of March 2020, I wrote 5 more songs. And today I have more than 15 pieces of music waiting to be produced. Besides, I enrolled in a one year program at the CFPM of Marseille to study music and become a professional musician.
