Chris Landry has been writing and recording original music since the early 2000s. Starting with Bad Houseguest, his bands have gigged extensively and made appearances at many festivals, including: Bluesfest, NXNE, Tamworth Country Music Festival (AUS), Flow Fest (KOR). Chris has fronted many bands as a singer-songwriter and guitarist, and has released multiple albums, spanning the genres of rock, punk, country and folk. As a songwriter, Chris is a storyteller. Articulate and thoughtful lyrics spin sad stories and tragic tales. In 2020, Chris began writing songs for his most recent release, Marylou (2022). You can hear a clear progression in songwriting and musicianship on this album. The music has progressed from straightforward country music and has expanded to include psyche, rock and even gospel
