I’m a songwriter drawn to poetic storytelling, warm grooves, and music that explores what it means to be human. My influences range from Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan to Erykah Badu, Fleetwood Mac, Hozier, and Leon Bridges, and my sound moves fluidly between folk, soul, funk R&B, hip-hop, alternative, and gospel-influenced spaces, but nothing is out of bounds; it depends what I hear in my head. I’m less interested in genre than in truth, emotion, and feel.
Lyrically, I’m inspired by metaphor, biblical imagery and Word, and the idea of “telling it slant” — sharing faith, meaning, and spiritual themes through story and subtlety rather than statements. Most of my work explores transformation, doubt, hope, justice, love and our relationship with the planet, holding space for complexity and growth. I aim to make music that feels honest, reflective, and embodied: songs you can think or pray with, and songs to live and move with! I am excited to meet and write for new performing artists.
