Explorer of surreal ambient soundscapes and experimental rhythmic sections. Keaton Chalifoux, a long time rock musician, first became fascinated with the world of electronic music production after finding inspiration from artists such as Radiohead and Massive Attack. As the limits of simply being a drummer became less and less satisfying, he began experimenting with virtual instruments and sound design. This progressed into a passionate love for electronic music production as he became more and more infatuated with artists such as Aphex Twin. With a fusion of ambient sounds and analog synths built upon a foundation of complex rhythms, he created Cloudlvl, his first fully electronic musical venture. Seeing music as a doorway to a spiritual level far beyond material life, Keaton strives to take his listeners on a spiritual and emotional journey.
