Cristina Brasero was born in Talavera de la Reina (Spain). As a child she always showed a huge interest in music and at 13 she started playing classical guitar. She was graduated as a sound engineer and has been exploring jazz harmony, piano, singing and acting for years. She is influenced by so many different artists from pop and rock to jazz and classical music: Barbra Streisand, Sarah Vaughan, Stevie Wonder, U2, Amy Winehouse, Francisco Tárrega and Joaquín Rodrigo are only some of them. Rosas Azules is her first release as a singer and songwriter and it mixes a contemporary pop sound with a touch of jazz and funk.
