Liv began her musical career in the symphony orchestra, earning her master's degree in music performance at DePaul University in Chicago, where she was born and raised. However, soul and country blues music has been in her heart from an early age. Liv has since left the symphony orchestra only to dive into composing and performing the music of her chilhood. When performing original music with her band, Sticky Gumbo, Liv's style is unique, bluesy and soulful with a hint of New Orleans flair.
