DFRNS. (pronounced Difference) A moniker for two up-and-coming Amsterdam natives Hidde Huijsman & Massimo Cacciapuoti who are quickly establishing themselves as an artist-breaking production duo in contemporary Pop and R&B/Hip-Hop/Reggaeton music. After testing the waters for a while, they soon became familiar with each others talents and uncompromising work ethic. Their dynamic sound comprises of synth driven, melodically innovative song arrangements plus trunk rattling beats. Earlier this year 5 x Grammy Award winning producer Kuk Harrell (Beyoncé, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Usher, Jennifer Lopez) discovered DFRNS which resulted into their first major placement on Republic Records with ‘Your Loss I’m Found’ by Jessie J. The ‘DFRNS’ trademark production style is about to explode onto blogs and radio and have the clubs on smash, much like their counterpart. They produced & have written a lot of songs and decided to start releasing their own project later this year.
