Her name is derived from Durga the warrior goddess whose weapons were given to her by different gods in order for her to prosper. Durgaveli’s love for Hip hop began in Puerto Rico at the age of 4. You could always find Durga, glued to TV, falling in love with A Tribe Called Quests video for, Scenario. Returning back to her home of New York, BROOKLYN to be exact, Durgaveli, quickly realized her gift and love of the rap culture and began to live out her passion. She is inspired by artists such as Jay-Z, Max-B, Jadakiss and Biggie.
Her first release, Karma, was birthed to the world in 2018. Her next solo single was Big Buddy, also released in 2018, followed by MSN and X2. She later collaborated with super producers Pierre Fontaine and City the King to create Trabajo (2020) and the ground shaking BACK OUTSIDE (2021).
