Darnell Lamar Williamson was born March 23 1988 the same year " Man in the mirror" was released by Michael Jackson. At the age of 8 he discovered his love for music he started rapping and building his creativity and style as an a artist. That blossomed into him being versatile with his art by learning how to produce and engineer his own music. His first debut mix tape was " The Don's Gift" and  it was released in 2007.He sold over 10,000 mix tapes with his first album. That opened up a door in which he was able to build with many of today's iconic legends such as Pimp C, Freeway, Ray Cash and many others.  With all that knowledge and experience as a artist " D-Nell the Don" was birthed. He is no stranger to pain and lost, In 2006 he experienced a traumatic loss of his mother Leslie Ann Williamson. And then in 2012 he lost his big brother Carl Williamson Jr to senseless gun violence. Those life experiences allowed him to rebirth as an artist, Some would say it's  Soulful.
