DJ Da Trooth is not your typical club DJ—he is a storyteller at the decks, a selector with genuine street DNA. Born in Cologne, Germany, in 1977, he grew up in rough neighborhoods, coming from a modest background, he built his way up as a DJ from the bottom up at the age of 14 – with two used replicas of the legendary Technics MKII and a vision: to bring the New Jack Swing and R&B of the 90s to German clubs. DJ Da Trooth doesn't deliver playlists – he delivers emotions. His sets are a ride between smooth R&B classics, raw hip-hop, and Caribbean vibes from dancehall and reggaeton. He understands the crowd, reads the room, and mixes as if he were telling stories. In 2019, he largely withdrew from active DJing and spent much of his time in private. Inspired by his son, he made his comeback as a DJ and Producer in 2025. His music can now be found on all well-known music platforms. DJ Da Trooth stands for authenticity, passion, and sound with backbone.
