I am Dakid—a Sierra Leonean artist based in Freetown, representing the voice of a new generation. My sound blends Afrobeats, dancehall, R&B, and local rhythms into a unique Afro-fusion style that speaks to both the streets and the soul.
I’m part of the movement reshaping the Sierra Leonean music scene pushing boundaries, breaking norms, and bringing fresh energy to the culture. My lyrics reflect real life, my beats make you move, and my story is one of growth, resilience, and passion for the art.
Whether it’s on stage or in the studio, I aim to inspire, connect, and put Sierra Leone on the global music map one song at a time. This is more than music this is a movement.
Welcome to the world of Dakid.
