Danny Skinner is a solo alternative rock musician and multi-instrumentalist from Dallas, TX. He writes, performs, and produces all elements of his music in his home studio. After years fronting Dallas bands like The Gemini Program, The Ultra Vespa, The Irony, and The Swim, Danny struck out on his own. He cites such influences as The Beatles, The Cure, The Cars, The Clash and pretty much all of the bands whose names start with "The"... Including The The. Danny is inspired by acts like Jimmy Eat World, Fall Out Boy, Weezer, and Queens of the Stone Age, but produces a sound that is all his own. In 2015 he released his debut album Reel to Real. His album Grace was just released in 2020 and there is a lot more new music on the way in mid-late 2020.
