Born and raised in North Carolina, I started playing violin when I was 6 but at 16 decided I wanted to be more Eddie Van Halen than Joshua Bell and played in garage bands through the rest of high school and college (we thought we were cooler than anyone else because we played Rush and Pink Floyd). I started writing songs in college and after college but never got up the nerve (or money) to record anything and move to Nashville. Eventually I started gigging around Greensboro almost 20 years ago and still play regularly around the Triad! In 2025 I finally had a little bit of free time and a great group of friends to help me record some songs that had been bouncing around in my head for a long time (some written in the late '90's!).
