David Coller has been writing and performing folk music since his teens. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from the University of Southern California before moving onward and eastward to a career in the medical world, but he continued to play in bands, duos, and as a solo performer both in southern California and later in Connecticut--until being waylaid by a wooden boat. He returned to the stage in 2019, only to be plunged with the rest of the world into COVID purgatory. Since then he has again been playing his original songs, mainly in New England and New York but with the odd foray to the west coast.
David brings to his listeners a variety of original songs: some straight-up folk, jazzy tunes that feel like standards, a bit of bluegrass, and some sea-songs, performed on the guitar, banjo, and the odd bit of button accordion.
