With a sound that blends complex synthesizers and dark wave influences, Dead Marionette mixes chip-tune aesthetics with trap and cloud rap bass, characterized by unpredictable vocals that scream and resonate. The journey began in the Girouard family, where early jam sessions ignited a passion for rhythm. Despite facing derision for mental health challenges, the journey through psychedelics empowered Dead Marionette to break free from constraints and turn trauma into art. Listeners are encouraged to shed societal expectations and embrace authenticity, realizing struggles can catalyze change. Preparing to release a five-track EP and perform live, the mantra is clear: invest in yourself and let creativity shape who you are.
