Derickvan

Lake Charles

Derick Van is an outlaw-country and country-rap artist telling his story one song at a time. His music comes from real life—backroads, hard lessons, lost time, family, regret, survival, and the fight to keep moving forward. Blending the raw spirit of outlaw country with Southern trap, 808s, and country storytelling, Derick Van creates music that sounds like the life behind the lyrics. This isn’t music written from the outside looking in. These are chapters lived, scars carried, and stories that still need to be told. From the blacktop to the backroads, from the darkest nights to the moments that bring you back home, Derick Van is still writing his story—one song at a time.
