My visual world explores devotion, mystery, femininity, silence, veils, masks, and the way society projects meaning onto women. Whether it is a nun’s habit, a woman’s veil, a Muslim woman’s veil, or a baroque mask, I see symbols of ritual, identity, protection, beauty, and power. The mask represents human hypocrisy. A baroque mask can be seen as elegant, artistic, mysterious, and cool, while a Muslim woman’s veil is often judged, politicized, or misunderstood. The same act of covering can be romanticized in one context and condemned in another. Stop hating, think!! and accept
