Singer Songwriter from Kingston Ontario. Grew up in the small town of Campbellford Ontario enjoying the simple country life. Carl's love of music started at a young age taking long road trips with family listening to John Prine, Tom Petty, Neil Young and many other fantastic songwriters. He picked up the Guitar at the age of 35 when jamming with some buddies with a Ukulele he was messing around with. Remembering his youth years Carl started my journey learning Guitar with many of John Prines classics. Prines music introduced me to many other artist like Todd Snider, Mandolin Orange, Trampled By Turtles, Jason Isbell and many more folk artist that would become my influences for songwriting . 2020 was a crazy year and he started writing and bringing my tunes to Jam nights which became regulars. With the help of the Ashton Two Dave Fisher and Justin Howard we recorded 9 original songs and a Todd Sinder classic (Just Like Overnight) which made up Carl's first release 20-20 Vision in 2021.
