Born in Cayce, SC writing became a way for Jerome Summers to escape his reality of crime and poverty. Starting out free styling as a 6 year old kid, he would amaze his family and friends with his ability and flow. Continuing as a local rapper under the pseudonym, Geddon, he teamed up with his cousin Gonzo and producer, Storm Beatz and created several songs despite the teams short lived success. After the dismemberment of the team, he decided to try a different path with his writing and began writing urban novels. By taking the same strategy, Jerome turned his thoughts from songs and into full length novels under the name, J. (JDot) Summers. After having success as an independent author, he has returned to his first love with music under the name Westside Dot.
