My name is Sylvester Chipinga, professionally known as Dovex. I’m a Malawian musician working across Afro, Amapiano, and Rap, focused on creating music that blends rhythm, emotion, and lifestyle storytelling. I started my journey in 2011 as a hip-hop artist and gradually built my sound through writing, recording, and collaboration. In 2016, I recorded with Malawi’s top producer at the time, DJ Sley, which helped shape my professional approach to music. In 2018, I evolved into Afro-inspired music with my release “Sunshine” ft Bwaxy, expanding into melody and wider audience appeal. After a period away for personal growth, I’m returning in 2026 with a clear goal: consistency, branding, and meaningful connections through music. My comeback single is “Tionese.” Beyond music, I created the lifestyle brand Fine Guy, promoting confidence and class for both men and women, and I’m developing my own label, Life Phaking, meaning live life to the fullest. I’m open to collaborate
