In real life, Dr Goodfellow is a psychiatrist and researcher. The French-American artist was born in France but found his inspiration on a small island called New Caledonia in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. He always played with sounds and music, composed songs for his rock band, but the real revelation was underground rave techno that showed him electronic sounds can be manipulated like matter. Producer and DJ Paul Kalkbrenner’s music and style gave him a boost to create something of his own, a story told in music like the ancient Greeks recounted the adventures of Ulysses. Dr Goodfellow uses electronica style and alien modular synthesizers to create the background for his songs of intergalactic love.
