This track is about learning to deal with PTSD, specifically learning to break the tendency to not only relive terrible moments, but also live inside fantasy's as if they were real life to escape. The story starts with an intentionally stereotypical, hyperbolic guy who has made it in the music scene, who slowly realizes his life is empty. The 3rd verse reveals that this guy is who I imagine myself 2 be, and I also realise that regardless of what i want, I need to live in the now 2 achieve it.more
