As the oldest of 4 siblings, he learned responsibility at an early age. Growing up in poverty and surrounded by the realities of street life, he witnessed the world from a perspective few people ever experience—gambling, drugs, violence, and the daily struggle to survive. But instead of allowing his environment to define him, he turned every hardship, every loss, and every lesson into fuel for something greater. Born and raised in the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida, 34-year-old Cambodian-American artist [DSweet] is a first-generation Cambodian American whose story is built from struggle, survival, and ambition.
