Dufonk is a French/Spanish producer based in Nemours, near Paris. Xavier Ibanez, in real life, was born in Paris. His parents emigrated from Spain in the late 60’s. From his Spanish roots he has kept the joy and melancholy of this proud people. During his teen years, he was rocked by funk, disco and early house music. He saw how the French electronic scene was growing and started to compose music with synths and groove machines for his own pleasure. After years of learning, exploring the capabilities of music software and expanding his knowledge of mixing and mastering, he started to produce deep house oriented tracks. From Daft Punk to Prince, Darryl Pandy to Marshall Jefferson, Boston Bun to Martin Solveig or even Georges Benson to Georges Duke… lots of influences push Dufonk to create positive vibes and beats that can be shared on the dancefloor. From his home studio in Nemours, he works hard to deliver musical emotions and share his love for House Music.
