Hey there! 🎵 My name is EverybodyHatesTJay, or EBHTJay for short. I'm an independent artist hailing from Macon, GA, and I'm on a mission to take my music career to new heights. My music reflects the struggles, trials, and tribulations of my life growing up in Middle GA. My real name is Tavoris McKinney Jr, born on September 4th, 2004. My great grandfather gave me the nicknames Varis, Baris, and TatterFat. Unfortunately, I lost my mom to gun violence when I was just 6 years old in Macon, my hometown. Her memory is a big part of my music, as I express the emotions I still deal with. I started off as YPCTJay, inspired by NBAYoungBoy. Now, I've even got an alter ego named bleedin, bringing a melodic style to my lyrics and rhymes. I've recorded many of my early tracks in friends' bedrooms or even on my grandma's sofa.
