Hello I go by the alias EQn0x (E-Q-Nox)because it is the person I crafted to be through hardships and success. “EQ” is for equalizer and “n0x”for night since I usually get my musical influences at night. I am a humble upcoming R&B/Pop artist who still is willing to learn and grow so much more than where my roots are planted. Raised in Tacoma, Washington one of the most dangerous places in the U.S I grew hard skin surviving through poverty, being one of 6 kids, high crime/violence and being a Black-Korean American gay kid. Blending in was a ticket for survival, but when EQn0x comes out exuding good vibes I felt the saturation on life crank up a notch. Singing and playing piano are my passions along with throwing down a mean meal and karaoke battle in the kitchen. Having numerous years of experience in theatre really showed me that if you commit to your act, you will be and live the show. I utilize this to always put my best genuine foot forward even when failure put me two steps back
