Esther Olivia is a singer-songwriter, was born on January 25, 2007 during a train trip and lives in Vienna (Austria), where she attends high school. Esther plays guitar and has been writing songs since the age of 13, several of which have been recorded in different studios. Together with her brothers and her father, who works as a forester, Esther lives on the outskirts of Vienna, from where she regularly commutes to her mother and often travels around the country with various artists. Esther prefers to stay in secondhand record stores, on rooftops or in coffee houses, from where she describes the stage of everyday life and transforms all kinds of faces in writing. Esther had great experiences in NYC, the city that stimulated the multi-faceted nature of her genre-spanning work. Esther writes her songs exclusively in English, whose aesthetic and cultural potential suits her best. Songs like 'blind in the middle' or 'brown one-legged dove', were both produced in New York.
