Eamon Daly is an "alt-folk” (yuck) singer/songwriter from the North of Ireland based in Vancouver, BC. Growing up a self-taught and highly reclusive bedroom guitarist, Daly’s introspection is on display in his music. A quietly refined craft coloured by a lifelong affinity for emotive storytelling and expressive guitar lines, Eamon’s contributions feel genuine, even when he’s making it up.
As a late adopter to sharing his music with anyone, Daly’s debut album is teeming with the fragility and muted optimism that accompanies the realization that nobody really knows what they’re doing. We are unified in not knowing what’s going on most of the time.
Eamon’s music attempts to navigate love and loss, apathy and empathy, cyclicity and serendipity, and the tumultuous quest of identifying when to speak up and when to remain silent.
Eamon’s debut album, The Whole Thing, is due for release in late 2025.
