Erica Nelson, known by most as Empress P.G, was raised in South Fort Worth (Forest Hill), Tx.. Growing up in a single parent house hold Empress always maintained being a straight ‘A’ student and stayed on the dean’s list for great conduct and outstanding grades. Empress discovered her passion for music at the age of 12, and by being the only girl of 4 brothers this made it easy for Empress to stand out as a Queen. Seeming to always be the center of attention she took this opportunity and as a craving for an audience in the music industry. Her strong determination to succeed in life pushed her to pursue her passion for her music. Empress ability to win over a crowd made her a diverse artist with the ability to cater to many audiences. Whatever pre-conceived notion you might have of what a “female MC” should be – Empress P.G is here to subvert it. Simply put, Empress P.G is just doing herself, and feeling good about it.
