In a world that always seems to need more Love, Ephlat strives to create an atmosphere to fill that void. Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, the Producer/Songwriter started at a young age, he and his sister would sit up and write songs and create melodies all day knowing that someone would eventually hear them. They would ditch school and put up flyers looking for musicians. They literally would have grown people coming to their home. Ephlat has always been a huge fan of Stevie Wonder, which would be his biggest influencer. Michael Jackson and Prince were up there among other greats. He started taking piano lessons when he was in grammar school. He didn’t have a keyboard or piano so his instructor would let him practice before his session. He would always drift off and start playing whatever came to mind until his teacher would say “Eric that’s nice but it does not sound like scales”. When he got home he would draw piano keys on pieces of paper and tape them together just to
