Born and raised in Iran, Farnaz Tabatabaee started playing classical piano by age eight and continued till present. In 2013, she started classic composition and then worked as a freelance composer and producer in her own studio and arranged many pop-orchestral pieces and composed for some short films in Iran. In 2022, she traveled to study master of composing for film, TV and Video games abroad at the Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain. ​ She is fond of hybrid thematic orchestration, which allows her to add a modern polish to the orchestra while also incorporating eastern colors into her music.
