Formed in a university music class, Illawarra-based five-piece alternative indie band 'Finding Darcy' presents a fresh take on a classic sound. Drawing inspiration from bands such as Led Zeppelin, Killing Heidi, Pacific Avenue, Spacey Jane, and The Rions, the group has a distinct sound combining elements of nostalgia and modernity. Lead singer Chelsea Daghita, lead guitarist Maya Gertler, drummer Eli Steinhaur, rhythm guitarist Angus Day, and bassist Victor Strange, offer a distinctive, edgy take on the current Australian indie rock scene. Creative and varied in their sound, they include elements of jazz, blues, and rock that bring something new to the Australian music scene.
