Music has always been a divine calling for Kansas City native Fleetwood Jones. Roots planted in Wyandotte, his artistry was shaped by a unique duality—balancing the spiritual grounding of a church-matron mother and the sharp cultural perspective of a revolutionary father. Fleetwood got his first taste of the studio in middle school as a member of The Young Disciples, an experience that sparked a lifelong commitment to the craft of beat-making and songwriting.
Today, Fleetwood stands as a vital voice in modern conscious hip-hop. His music doesn't just entertain; it invites listeners into a journey of self-examination, sacrifice, and resilience. Moving through the full spectrum of human emotion—from hurt to pure joy—his core message remains clear.
Marking a major milestone in his musical evolution, Fleetwood Jones releases his highly anticipated debut solo project, Better Late Than Never, on September 1st, 2026, across all digital streaming platforms.
