Florian Botos (b. 1973, Salgótarján, Hungary) is a Roma-heritage artist and musician whose journey flows between sound, image, and prayer. Born into a family where music and creativity were part of everyday life, he began painting under the guidance of his mother and grandmother, while rhythm found him behind the drums in local bands.
In the mid-1990s, a spiritual awakening transformed his path: faith became the heart of his art. He began to weave Scripture into music and image, creating a distinctive style where biblical verses themselves form the texture of his paintings. His visual work has been exhibited in Hungary and Canada, reflecting both heritage and devotion.
Music, too, became a canvas of testimony. His debut album, Impro Roma Latina (2001), introduced a sound shaped by Roma roots, improvisation, and praise. Today, his songs—often inspired by the Psalms—are like seeds scattered, carrying faith, hope, and the presence of Jesus Christ into the lives of listeners.
