The music projects of songwriter, producer and singer Francesca Palamidessi have ranged from the electronic pop of @Brujas to the synth-pop/alternative colored sound of @Monkey Tempura, experimental and contemporary music as in "@Amber Haze", with a past deeply rooted in jazz (see her first record "@In Other Words I Am Three").
Born in 1991 in Rome, her first approach was in classical music. She was trained in piano, violin, and played in a youth orchestra. Later on she landed on singing, studying in Italy and Belgium, graduating at Jazz Conservatory while developing a strong interest towards electronic voice manipulation, improvisation and sound design. Her songs explore non-traditional compositional elements and broad evocative soundscapes made of sounds from the real world, electronics, haunting vocals and laptop production techniques. She has performed internationally and is currently touring with italian renown artist Elisa.
