Gian Marco Verdone is an Italian composer whose music blends modern orchestral writing,
contemporary electronic elements, and the expressive voice of the piano, merging cinematic
and intimate styles with modern pop influences. His recent work includes the original scores for
La Stanza Indaco and the upcoming Al Solito Posto and A Closed Deal. Winner of the
Vincenzoni Award, the Mercurio d’Argento Film Music Prize, and the Score the World
Competition, he is also active as arranger for the crossover project Leggera, and performs
regularly as a pianist in national venues.
