Roland Gesner Benjamin (born October 3, 1986), also known by the stage names Gant, The Voice Of Miami, GT, is an American rapper, song writer, record producer, businessman, life coach, and entrepreneur. Born in Miami, FL. Benjamin would always have an intense love of music which was giving to him not only by the Miami DJ scene which his uncle Julio "Gucci" Villanueva was apart of but also his father Roland Benjamin who was the lead singer and guitarist in the Haitian creole band "Roland & The Islanders". With a Haitian and Puerto Rican background Benjamin was always surrounded by music and he started rapping in 1996 shortly after the death of his musical idol 2Pac .
