GAPPYSMI :)LE (aka C Major / C Matic, formerly Chris Amor) is a hip hop artist from Enfield, North London, known for introspective lyricism, raw honesty, and fearless storytelling. His music reflects lived experience — shaped by gang-heavy surroundings, cultural pride, and deep self-reflection. After five years in Manchester, he returned to London with a new name and identity born from trauma, truth, and transformation. Influenced by MF DOOM, Madlib, J Dilla, Kendrick Lamar, his inner circle, and the spirit of the Benin tribe, GAPPYSMI :)LE blends gritty realism with soulful depth. Shedding his former name gave him freedom — a way to express without the weight of judgment. The visible gap in his teeth mirrors the space between who he was and who he’s becoming. His mantra: “Be yourself and know yourself — things take time.” GAPPYSMI :)LE isn’t chasing trends — he’s building connection through truth, creativity, and authenticity
