Greetings! Gary McIntyre here, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and Roadie For Life. I have been fortunate to travel the world with some great acts like rockers George Thorogood & the Destroyers, Gin Blossoms, and The Rembrandts. Also, country greats like David Ball, Sherrie Austin, Jessica Andrews, and Mel McDaniel, singer/songwriter Josh Rouse, blues man and TV star Montel Williams, and fusion giant Al DiMeola. Those experiences, combined with the influences of my early heroes like John Prine, Harry Chapin, Guy Clark, Tom Waits, and David Alan Coe has led to my recent flurry of songwriting and recording. I never cared much for the spotlight, preferring to play guitar, pedal steel, keyboards, and bass to support other singers. I’ve mostly made my living in the shadows. That’s where I am comfortable. But my songs are an important part of my life story, so I finally decided to record them myself.
