The Canton, Ohio native, Gemi Cheeze came out of nowhere & bursted on to the scene in the spring of 2022 when he dropped music videos for songs “Bag” & “Him” (shot by legendary Canton, Ohio videographer Zenen Saneshige). His sound is clearly Detroit inspired but what really makes Gemi Cheeze stand out from his peers is his floatious flow and menacing tone of voice combined with his ability to switch flows and experiment on beats. Gemi Cheeze’s surprise entrance into the music scene was greatly influenced by the murder of his cousin, and popular Akron, Ohio rapper Boo Cash. In a very short time, Gemi Cheeze has been able to create a noticeable buzz in the city. -Luke Snail
