Golden Seal is a Reggae/Dub duo formed in 2021 by multi-instrumentalists Mattbwoy and Johnney Bass. The duo met in summer 2020 in Montreal, and it didn't take long before they hit the studio and start recording tracks. Their music infuses roots reggae and dub often accompanied by solid saxophone melodies and like in the old days. The duo droped their first E.P "Dubbing Matters" in October 2021 through their independant label Musikville. They are now preparing their debut album alonside a series of singles to be released in 2022, featuring various artists from the local and international reggae scene.
