They played most of their shows in the Chicago area at clubs like the Czar Bar, the Lounge Ax, the Empty Bottle, and the Fireside Bowl. They also appeared on WHPK's Pure Hype, WNUR's Airplay, and the Chic-a-go-go TV show. DragKing's music was hard to pidgeonhole including elements of Punk, Jazz, Noise, Post Punk, No Wave, Prog Rock, and Experimental music.
