I am an electronic music producer, blending my love for dance music with the wonder and mystery of occult history and tradition. As of now I am mainly focusing on midtempo, house, dubstep, DnB; experimenting with old school sounds from electro, techno, and jungle as well. The artist name Hamremi derives from and Old Norse word, "Hammramr" which references the ability to change shape/skin, as the legendary berserkirs are said to do; I use this ability to perform real sonic sorcery, playing with the unification of opposites such as novelty and predictability, darkness and brightness, beautiful and abrasive. Working on developing and launching a website with an author/scholar friend who shares interest in music, writing, and esoteric study, and with that we will be hosting free text lessons for production in Ableton Live, and hopefully expanding to doing more in the future.
