Born in Baltimore, raised in PG County, and the last part of childhood in Charles County. H.O.A.L. witnessed sides of D.C. and Maryland that aren’t advertised, a raw reflection of urban realities - gritty stories of struggle, survival, and resilience. Go-Go music/bands growing up in the D.C. area were a part of the culture. Go-Go where instruments, Rap, R&B and other genres, create a cultural blend of harmony and reality of the hoods of D.C., MD. & VA. H.O.A.L. grew up witnessing life in various neighborhoods & areas across the DMV. With the influence of brothers and strong partners in different communities, he saw the realities of life marked by spiritual influence, and the profound truth of The Most High God. Witnessing this truth in real time, his music reflects the importance of acknowledging the supernatural and embedding that spiritual reality into the culture. With his work, he aims to inspire listeners to recognize the significance of divine truth in everyday life.
