Hopi is a musical project born in 2019, raising from the ashes of the previous bands in which Massimo, Mauro and Riccardo were involved. The three guys from Abruzzo (Central Italy) decided to give a lashing to their musical lives by proposing Lorenzo Della Valle, a powerful and talented guitar player, to join the band. The new quartet thought long and hard on how to make music that could make them truly proud of being musicians, with the purpose of disrupting the stiff Italian musical landscape. Inspiration led them to David Newfeld, a well known Canadian producer (Broken Social Scene, Los Campesinos!, Super Furry Animals, Holy Fuck), with the aim of collaborating and taking over some band's ideas: 'Dummy', 'Grace' and 'There Will Be Blood'. With David's placet, they began a very stimulating relationship, resulting in the release of the first single Dummy, in January 2021.
